Default What is the Biblical Attitude/Approach towards WAR????? - 03-27-2003, 11:18 AM

Joshua 10:13, "And the sun stood still, and the moon stayed, until the people had avenged themselves upon their enemies."

Fisrt of all, how many days did that year had, since the Sun stood almost a day, and another instance in the Bible, sun was moved backward? Probably 364??

Now let us come to the issue, hoping that you know I'm talking about war 'with' 'in' 'on' Iraq.

Why did God allowed the Sun to stand so that people can murder one another?

Jihad, on the other hand means 'fighting in self-defense" through the help of ALLAH.

American have prayed so much for this war, and Bush admitted that he prays daily, despite the fact that he authorised war on Iraq, arguably because it is his job.

Why all this fuss?

Christians, Americans, 'believe' in Jesus Christ, such that when you are slapped one chich, you give the other. They should also love and forgive their enemies.

I think the Bible offers nothing of reconcilliation of war, Apart from supporting it, which in this case, The Almighty God endorsed it!!!

Let War continue......

they say that God gives 3 answers: YES, NO, WAIT .. so bush has been praying, yes. but what answer did he get from God??

sadam says that god promised to "whatever" the enemies throat. have they been praying to the same God?? (makes me wonder)

my attitude towards the bible and war is precise: God speaks peace to his people, to his faithful, to those who turn to him in their hearts .. thus comes the verse "be still and know that i am God"
