The cross came before the gun.
Christianity and its roots, Judaism, are the most violent forms of religion man has ever practiced.
The Bible is full of repellent examples of the violent nature of the religion.
From Noah's flood to Sodom and Gomorah. From Samson to the
crucifictions.
In the recorded history of the world, all leaders who have been
strongly pro-christianity/Judaism have always had very violent regimes.
And in the history of the world, more henious crimes have been
committed in the name of Christianity/Judaism that any other religion.
God, by his own admission, is a violent and vengeful being.
And his followers truely live up to this.

" That's my story and I am sticking to it"

Man's greed and ego are the cause of oppression. Stop blaming it on God and the choice of faith.

I second this thought!:) and would add that man's lack of knowledge of God is their downfall. It would be wise to acquaint oneself with the character of God before pointing accusing fingers at Him.
