I just attended the Upendo singles retreat through a friend's invitation in Dallas over the thanks-giving holidays and at first I really did not like the idea and I reluctantly went to these retreats and I was thoroughly entertained. I was impressed by the performances especially with the Milele Group and it was good to see my boy Danny of the Milele Group after a long time do his thing. That was off the hook y'all. The qouro was sawa and the entertainment was mzuri and I saw a lot of Kenyans mpaka in my mind I was like did everyone come here ama venues are changing from ATL to christian meetings???. Kudos.

1. About how many Kenyans attended?

2. Why was the gathering confined to singles only? What were all those singles doing all those days? Can you shed more light about how they interacted to one another?

3. What was the theme for this gathering? Can it be interpreted as another form of Kenyan 'dating' in the garb of Christianity?

4. Comparing it with Atlanta Thanksgiving, what difference does this one make bearing in mind that it was Kenyans who met?

5. Are these true christians or mere hypocrates we have come to know here in U.S.?
