Taratibu, lakini...

We can look back at the book of Ruth to see a woman at work. Remember how Boaz was checking Ruth out from afar and she didn't have a clue? She was too busy gathering food. Naomi had to sit her down and say, "You better take a look at this man." You know the rest of the story, and if you don't, you should definitely read it. Ruth didn't sit around whining about the lack of a man in her life; she got on with her life and love intercepted her. Her hands were completely open, and that put her in the position to receive. Perhaps this why Jesus said, "If you cling to your life, you will lose it; but if you give it up for me, you will find it" [Matt.10:39]
