I think Americans are either naive or just plain dumb.I've never come across people who will accept everything they're told,just because it came from authority.Today is supposed to be high alert,come on now,how the heck would the government know if there is a serious risk of attack?You dont tell your enemy of your plan,I think its all propaganda to keep people on their toes and make them robots,act when I say so.Atleast the french had enough revolutions because they disliked the form of governance,but Americans!They keep saying how Bush is not worthy as a President yet they wont vote.

Hey Nerima! Long time no see! I agree with you on some points. I remember when this 9/11 went down arguing with folks how Americans were not going to get Osama but NOBODY wanted to hear this. Everybody thought that it would be a quick,clean capture because America has many sophisticated troops. All i said was that Osama (like any ol terrorist) would not just sit there waiting to be captured. That chances are, he was already in France or some other country sporting a fro wayyy b'4 9/11 occured but did they wanna know??? A year later....... na bado they haven't got him. Now there is all this new propaganda about how he is sick, sijui he was injured, he might be dead...plizz!!!!!!

As for 9/11, i feel that the only folks who should hold on a bit longer are those directly affected by it. Otherwise it is generally not healthy to dwell on death and war. I dislike the way we have desperately clung onto it almost as if we enjoyed it or as if it represents everything. It is sad what happened but we have to let go.
I hope that some good comes out of it. That with the awareness of what goes on in other parts of the world,we will be more able to address everyone's issues fairly. I hope that folks have learnt that violence will never justify anything and will only bring more pain and violence.

On August 7 1998 there was a simultaneous terrorist attack on US embassies in Nairobi Kenya and Dar es Salaam Tanzania. Almost 300 Africans an 12 Americans died. To mark the anniversary A mass was held at the bomb sight. It was attended by a relativley junior embassy official, the deputy ambassador. No service was held to commemorate the occasion at St. Pauls Catherdral London where prime mimisters past and present accompanied by the royal family attended, the was no remberance in Paris, nor did the Australians gather in their thousandas waving Kenyan flags, nor ws there a fund establised for the children of the victims of Aug 7. Nor was there live covarage of the commomoration in Nairobi by the BBC,CNN,FOX etc.
But when people of european decent came under attack , they have done everything possible to make sure we do not forget .
This reminds me of animal farm ... all animals are equal but some more equal that others

To tell you the truth,I feel nothing about 9/11.If you think about it,its almost like they were setting it all up,I still dont understand how they got the Osama videos but were not able to capture him.Reading Isso's post and another I got from fwds,it all comes down to the oil,the rest is just manipulation of the populace.
