i have always wondered why congregations will spend millions of dollars on a chuch, yet neglect to put cushions on the pews. If it were up to me, i would have rows of recliners for my flock to sit upon.

LOL. Ati La-z-boy. What next? a remote to mute the reverend at the pulpit. anyway, Tupac said it best when he asked this question " Why does God need a million dollar church for me to come and worship him,when we are broke and hungry."

I'm sure 2pac now knows why we build multi-million dollar churches.

As for me I will use my wealth to serve the Lord.

we spend millions so that the pastor can support his family and his mistress(true story).

@Lily....Oh Please do tell, why start a juicy story about that then just back off....

What I've never figured out is these alternative preachers who are called in to pray for people to get wealth and be prosperous, and those they're praying for are so gullible to believe that these dudes can pull it off....

For one, dude probably lives in some slum in Kawangware in a one roomed house with wifey and 6 kids. I fail to see why such a dude should be praying for folk to get wealth and prosperity, while he could pull the same stunt for himself and operate a half decent life, if the stunt could actually be pulled off....hiyo si maendeleo...

if people sleep in church as it is...imagine what its gonna be like if they weka laz-e-boys (thats funny by the way). The hard pews are there to keep us uncomfortable and awake..I think

I know some have like the itsy bitsy cup holders for 'sacrament' or whatever they call the kinywaji believed to be the blood of christ.....

Coz you don't see the pews when you are outside and you can't leave once you are inside...
