Considering the recent Catholic molestation scandals, I wanted to mention that there are born-again Catholics today. I personally attended a Catholic high school and had friends who did not believe in the doctrine of the Catholic church. There were Catholics as far as attending mass, but the bible (no the catholic bible) was to them the word of God. Born-again Catholics exist and I'm glad many are realizing that, it is not about religion but about a personal relationship with Jesus Christ. DO YOU KNOW JESUS CHRIST? I hope you do. He is coming again!!

It is gut-wrenching to note that the people entrusted in spiritual nourishment of the masses have turned out to be pedophiles, sexually molesting innocent kids, by making them believe that having sex with them(priests) is like having sex with God.

Catholic church is all about hypocracy and full of idolatory. Why subjugate priests into dire sexual deprivation knowing well that they are emotionally functional human beings?

It is also known that in Rome "seminary" the school for Monks and nuns, though there is separation of the two seminaries, there is an underground tunnel which monks sneak into nuns chambers at night, and have sex with them.

Catholic in Kenya is the only church ruled by whites, keeping the colonial wound open.

However, it is devastating that the Church is trying to cover up this child molestation.

It is time for catholics to come clean on this issue of pedophiles in their priesthood.

Am not denying that molestation exists, but give me a break is it only the catholic church leaders that are out there molesting?

True the catholic church has flaws but let not the few who have strayed be the benchmark of defining the catholic church.
The positives of the catholic church are numerous from education to healthcare.
Surely, isn't it fair to deal with individuals without generalizing this current tragedy as a catholic church thing?


It is sad that it has come to this but in no way is this just a catholic church affair peodhophiles exist in every religious denomination, nation and race.

I agree with the fact that this "animals" exist in every denomination, but I think many people (including me) are just upset by the whole affair because Catholics seem to exude a holier than thou attitude. Personally I attended Catholic school and it was amazing how some of the nuns would go as far as calling people children of the devil, while they are very much aware of what is happening in their own parishes, it is no secret that this molestations have been happening for years and that now its just that the truth can't be hidden any longer.

That is the issue many people have with this whole saga, that there are/were priests molesting kids, and other priests helped them cover it up...as if that were not enough the archbishop and Pope knew about it and said nothing....if you ask me that does not paint a very good picture.

I agree with Roma.

It is true that proportionately the number of deviant Catholic priest is a very small number, but the fact that the Catholic church undertook a masive coverup operation by paying off anyone who sued them, and shuffled the errant priests into other parrishes without warning the local community thus permitting them to prey on their congregation over and over again is unforgiveable.

And why did they do this? Just to prove that the Pope is infalliable. That his stand on celibacy is right, and shall remain so forever!

Every member of Catholic Church is born again, since we are all baptized with water in the name of the Father, Son and Holy Spirit. Jesus explanation of being born again was baptism as practiced in the Church. As far as the evil pedophile priests exist, it is unfortunate that the church believed they could get converted and change, and gave them a second chance, which lead to further molestation of innocent children. But you know what, God is never late and is cleaning up his church now. Separating the wheat from the weeds, the sheep from the goats, since the devil has sown his seeds of destruction in the church of Christ. You know what follow Catholics; do not lose your faith because of the scandals, since it is based on Christ and not mere human beings. Yet Christ entrusted his church to mere human beings with all our faults and shortcomings. You can all rest assured that Christ overcame the power of devil by dying on the cross and the devil will not overpower our church as promised by Christ. This is a time of purification of the church and the devil cannot prevailed over the church of Christ that is also the body and bride of Christ.
