In baptism we are saved, buried with Christ, incorporated into his body, washed of our sins, regenerated, cleansed, reconciled to God, receive the Spirit, and so on (see Acts 2:38, 22:16; Rom. 6:1?4; 1 Cor. 6:11, 12:13; Gal. 3:26?27; 2 Cor.5:18-19; Eph. 2:16; Eph. 5:25-27; Col. 2:11?12; Titus 3:5; 1 Pet. 3:18?22).

I have just one question for you. What happens to a person who has believed (accepted/received) Christ into their hearts and is NEVER baptised? Will this person be in heaven or hell?

I pray that God will reveal to you that his death on the cross was and is sufficient enough to save a person and to be a Christian all you have to do is found in Rom 10:9-10.

I have come to the conclusion that my posts on this subject will not do any good. Apart from the spirit of God revealing this to you, my posts seem to be in vain.

Definitely, the only person who has the power to judge whether one goes to heaven or not is our Lord Jesus Christ. Based on his teachings, I doubt if one can attain salvation without baptism, especially if one deliberately chooses not to, even in view of the declaration of the Lord, who says, "Truly, truly, I say to you, unless one is born of water and the Spirit, he cannot enter the kingdom of God." John 3:5.

According to the teaching of Catholic Church, it is only possible to attain salvation without water baptism through "baptism of blood," martyrdom for Christ, or through "baptism of desire", that is, a conscious or even unconscious desire for baptism. Catechism of the Catholic Church states: "Those who die for the faith, those who are catechumens (In preparation for baptism), and all those who, without knowing of the Church but acting under the inspiration of grace, seek God sincerely and strive to fulfill his will, are saved even if they have not been baptized" (CCC 1281; the salvation of non-baptized infants is also possible under this system; cf. CCC 12601, 1283).

Let me mention again that apart from the Holy Spirit of God revealing this to you, you will never understood it. The verse you quote John 3:5 when understood in context is saying that for one to come into the Kingdom of God they have to be heaven born (born from above). If baptism is what saves a person, or if salvation can come through baptism, then the death of Christ was all in vain. If a person is on their death bed and they realize their need for Christ’s atoning death, accept it and receive it and then die, does this person go to heaven or hell? I will answer the question for you! This person goes directly to heaven.

Lets think about his for a minute. Remember Jesus was crucified with two thieves. One of them hurled insults at Jesus will on the cross, the other asked Jesus if he could remember him in the kingdom. What was Christ reply? Jesus answered him, "I tell you the truth, today you will be with me in paradise (Luke 23:39-43). What was Jesus saying in his reply to this man? He was saying that today you will be in Heaven with me. What is paradise? Heaven is paradise. This man was not baptized in any way as far as I can tell from scripture. On the cross with Jesus he recognized that he was being justly punished and that Christ was wrongfully accused. I can guarantee you that this man is in heaven. My point in mentioning this is that Christ is our only atoning sacrifice and he alone saves. Ever heard of the song “Jesus saves, Jesus saves”. I John 5:13 says “I write these things to you who believe in the name of the Son of God so that you may know that you have eternal life”. Notice that we have eternal life by believing in the Son of God and not by baptism. This by the way is why the bible was written so that we may know that we have eternal life, therefore we are heaven born and heaven bound.

You mention the Catechism of the Catholic Church. I find this very interesting, because this begs the question. “Where did the Catechism of the Catholic Church come from God or man”. If it was formulated in the mind of men then there are serious problems with those who believe them as opposed to the as the world of God.

this baptism your are talking about....is it really of any significance to be baptised while you are just about 1 or two months old? futher more according to the bible we know that baptism by immersion should be aplicable to those who want to rightfully call themselves christians.By what mode or means were you baptised....if it happens to be that old water sprinkling system we know of don't even talk about it.

Now the bibble says we should follow Jesus' example.As we all know(or we dont)he was was immersed in water(baptism)Jesus in his teachings consider those who do not follow the will of his father to be non family members NB he says(mark)my bothers and sisters are those who obey my father.

So from which christian manual(bible) does the catholics get their instructions????

As much as this is acts are committed by rational the main force behind it is the devil/satan himself.You realise that mankind is fighting spriritual war.What we need know is that satan uses the best to get what he wants out you or any other person for that matter. Becuase your body is easy for him to take control of he he will alwsys use it.
