What I posted was the ancient Egyptian way of worshipping.

Now I don't see how anyone can get offended by it without seeing my original point that it is offensive for christians to bombard us with their songs and hymns.

If this thread is about worshipping then just as much as you expect people to read your psalms or whatever, I expect you to read the odes to Osiris.

In any case everyone knows that the Holy Trinity concept of christians comes from the Egyptian Triad of:

Osiris, Isis and Horus.

It sounds to me like you have double standards. On the one hand you assume and expect people to read the odes of Osiris (which I assume is the ancient Egyptian way or worshipping). On the other hand you condemn Christians for worshipping the almighty God. It sounds to me like this is some sort of personal thing with you. You hate Christians!

Has it occurred to you that your expectation of people to read the odes of Osiris may be offensive to some people, just like you believe that it is offensive for Christians to openly worship the almighty God?

MTT..you shared in this thread what you had to say about egyptian worship and no one responded with insults and bashing...why can't you behave the same??...otherwise if you dislike christianity..there are many other discussion you can participate in...no one forced it on you

MTT I have a simple solution for you. Why don't you start a thread dedicated to our ancestors? You can even vent out your anger there if you want to. I don't follow christianity, but that doesn't give me or anyone the right to critisize those practising it anymore than they have to critisize me. This is a public forum where everyone is free to practise their religion and freedom of speech too, while at the same time making sure we don't infringe on each other's freedoms through abuse and harassment like you are doing.
