Your friend is not on his death bed more so if he is in the US where medication is readily available.
The worry and the stigma will probably kill him faster than the virus can if he is on treatment.
My best advice to you is to let him know that he needs to focus on the now rather than the later and get treatment. Ignore the bad vibes from people around and get on with his life.

5000 people were instantly killed on Sept 11th at WTC. Lives and futures were destroyed. I have outlived all those people with my HIV status.

I dont want to repeat what I said in my earlier postings but strongly encourage him to make the best of his life now and seek help.

yes everyone is at risk of getting HIV if they are not carefull. it is indeed a serious deisease . for me being a catholic plays a very important role in my life.i am not married but i do sleep with my partner and we use condoms becase it not only saves us from getting diseases it also prevents us from getting children when we are not ready yet. for those catholics who have got rid of condoms i would like to say SHAME ON YOU!i think they should know that prevention is better than cure. if you have a partner and you are willing to go ahead with exploring your sexual pleasure then you should be open to each other on how yoU will go about it. dont blame the heat on alcohol cause the alcohol wears out after 9 months or after a lifetime of illnesses. beware, be responsible ,be alert.
