I do beleive in God and that he does exist. When you look at all the world religions, the main unifying factor that they all have is the belief in the existence of One Supreme Being who made the Heavens, Earth and Mankind. This can not be mere conicidence. Besides when you lok at the world and its creations - there are some things that just can't be explained by the 'Big Bang Theory' or 'Evolution Theory'. I do not however beleive that there is only one 'true' religion and that all the others are condemened to eternal damnation as Christians would like us to beleive. As someone mentioned earlier, who says that our forefathers were wrong in their ways of worship? The African Traditional Religions are just as right as Christianity, Islam, Buddhisim and all other world religions. I don't think that anyone else has a right to condemn another's religon.
As for the Bible - we have to remember first and foremost that this was originally written in Hebrew and later translated to English. Some phrases or words may have become distorted or translated literally thereby adding to the numerous contradictions found and also the confusion on certain teachings. I'm not trying to say that the Bible is wrong, only that don't take whatever you find in the bible at face value, remember most of the teaching's of the Bible are hidden and require thorough scrutiny before they can be understood.
