One of the saddest moments for me was finding out that my Paps was living with cancer, and the Doctors predicting that he could only possibly live for a further couple of weeks-oh, man, that was some painful sh!t!!! - and what does the old man do? he lives for the next TWO years(LOL) and reckons he should die in a plane crash instead. He always insisted that the cancer would not get him, and he was right!I thought i would share something he wrote:

'...I really do enjoy waking up everyday.Indeed, no matter how weak I may be, no matter the anguish of that particular headache, there's something quite spontaneous and joyful about opening my eyes and discovering that i'm still here...'

Greatest moment? Passing those wretched A-Levels,getting that scholarship, and getting into my first choice of Uni sure was great!!oh, how i had prayed for that!!God IS good!!

Have a blessed 2002.:-)

My most bitter defeat was when I lost my father because I did not have the money to pay for his continued treatment. RIP.

Happy New Year everybody.
After all is said and done, I believe that everything that happens in a person's life happens for a reason.
As bad as it may be at the time, the situation moulds you into a better and stronger person and that is why we are all who we are.
For those of you who believe in God, "HE never gives us more than we can handle and better yet, HE did not bring you this far to leave you."
When a window shuts a door opens.
Be strong and don't give up.
Learn all you can from whatever you go through in life and you will be able to deal with worse situations later in life.Coz this is not the beginning neither is it the end. Life happens all the time and it's all inevitable. How you react to it is what matters.
