Allow me to break your rules. Unless you are on a marketing mission, I think it is irrational to expect that all of us read your book above. Besides We are not all privileged to be Near an Amazon Shop.

Ndlovu-it might have been better to give us the link but also summarise what this liberal white guy is confirming about his white privilages. People are lazy (dont want to read heavy stuff) or unabl to just run & buy/borrow the book.

Your post however is interesting.

Tim Wise is just another white liberal guy on a guilt or profiteering trip (either way) telling us how crazy it is that just by dint of his of being white he gets to enjoy so much access to things.

As a African I dont give a toss about whether he is really sincere/genuine or not about this racial divide.

Why?

Because from the time Africa was invaded many, mANY BLACK WOMEN & MEN have been saying the same thing he is saying!!

These are AUTHENTIC because they/we feel it. These Africans.

Surely Mandela for starters has taken us through this before little tim wise came around all righteous-like?

When are we Africans going to realize that we need to trust our own thoughts and instincts?

When will end this slave mentality of the "educated" Black Wo/man?

When are we going to trust that voice that tells you that all this WHITE MIASMA-their little gods, heavens & exploitative socio-economic systems are actually deranged and wicked constructs, schemes & stratagems?

That voice of BLACK GOD?



When are we going to realize that of course if you think/talk like this they will brand you insane and just a trouble maker?

This of course is standard operating procedure in oppresor/oppressed dynamics from time immemorial!
