Have you ever been so absorbed to a friendship then you get cautioned by either a parent,spouse,partner or someone dear to you that your friend is a misleading type.

Anyone who has been there and done that how do detect a misleading friend.?

In mashada;
I have friends who have adviced my friends to stay away from me.

In real life;
I have my mum who has always reminded me to be cautious of my best buddy.

A misleading friend is one that will ask u to do things they'd never do themselves.Especially the ones who like to say
words like these;
1.Ahh wewe ni mjinga utakubaliaje
2.you'd be so foolish to accpet his apologies..

My dad used to caution me about pal of mine who was like a role model - but then I never saw anything wrong with him.

It is only much later...that i came to realise the wisdom of his foresight. This friend betrayed me in ways I cannot begin to explain.
