about a week ago, i got this gal who looked innocent and 19-ish. My dear, domestic violence happens everyday and it can happen to anyone, man or woman. Not everyone has the opportunity to get informed, like mamas in the village who believe it's part of tradition, etc. But even so, educated men and women are abused everyday.
It is a vicious cycle and must be eradicated. Before it ever reaches the physical stage, the person has been abused verbally, emotionally, and psychologically for some. These are far reater effects, than physical pain b/c the very core of you is damaged but wounds do heal.
You lose your self-esteem, confidence in yourself, and live in fear. Then you begin to think if you do this or that, it will get better, they will change, etc. It is wrong and no one deserves it.
