I think women should be happy with their hair whatever state it is in and stop wearing fake hair.

but i won't hold my breath, women in Nairobi have never been known for any depth or wisdom, 90% of them are just a bunch of empty-heads.

You have obviously been looking in the all wrong places there are lots of women in nairobi with natural hair remember the "FIDA look"? this was the close crop natural hair worn by many female lawyers some time back, then there was the bald look worn by women in the fashion industry. Hairstyles change all the time it may be the bad weave season so give the ladies a break.
Its not only black women who are victims of fashion ,today many white women have there lips injected to thicken them like african lips yet nobody condems them. style e is a personal choice so why dont you simply ignore the women who's style you disapprove.

smartass, the white ladies who also want to have black ladies looks, are there, but less than 0.05 %. Offcourse every market has it crazy person. Kill propaganda is giving a 90 % figure for the crazy ones in african market. I think it should be about wanting to look beautiful, but not do do so, so as to look like a white.....we are saying the yellow; yellow stuff on our sisters heads look really bad, generally. Attitude change is neccesary here. I was in a bus and an african lady entered with the blond hair....behind me, white ladies were commenting that she wants to look like em, in thier language. I felt the pinch...on my sisters behalf.

I was gonna let this slide but you know what, do what makes you happy. Men talk oranges and sleep apples. Here they are telling you how they want you to appear, but look at their top 5 hottest women. Beyonce, Halle, Alicia Keys, JLo then sometimes Gabby Union and Nia Long. Notice the trend? Light skin, long hair and then they turn around and say natural Africaness is beautiful. Gabby and Nia are the nearest thing to remotely African, but remember Gabby stays weaved up. Look at Africa in general, which country do men say has the most beautiful women? At this point I tuned off anything men have to say as far as beauty, if a weave makes you happy, rock it, if short hair makes you happy go ahead. Right now I chopped off my hair and it probably will not see a perm anytime soon, but I didnt do that coz of a man. Do what makes you happy.
On a sidenote, who has authority over which shows can be televised in Kenya? If I hear Tyra throw another hissy fit, I have never seen anyone so full of themselves or so colorstruck, always babbling about dark skinned women are beautiful too. Witch pliz, keep that back handed compliment to yourself and for the record Naomi is still the baddest.
