You are in love with this person. This person is a single parent to son or a daughter. Would you rather tie the knot with a single female or a single male parent? And who among the two is likely to accept the other child 'wholeheartedly'?

I am female but i'd not mind much dating a guy with a kid regardless of the sex of the child. I'd like to know how that happened since mose gals are dumped by the guys after getting pg, but i dont know if i'd dump my kid with a boyfriend. I may need to talk to the guy more and more and not be surprised in future that i am an intruder or something.

Default loving homes - 08-13-2007, 03:12 AM

Shame on anyone who thinks dating a single parent is trouble or watever, some of us were raised by step mums and step dads and we had everything we ever wished for. Growing up in a loving home is all that matters.

there's nothing wrong with dating a single mum...but for me, she has to be exceptional...there has to be something about her that simply melts me down...

too much buggage, especially about EXs, is also a big turnoff...

The problem is not the dating but when now u want to settle down.Acepting somebody elses kid can be a big problem and playing the dad/mum role can be a big challenge.
