We were really into each other, then one of us had to fly out of the country-it happened to be me. I was informed monday 11.45am that i was to be at jkia tuesday 0545hrs since the flight was 0745hrs. I knew that there was a possibility for me to go out and was ready but i did not think that it could suprise me like that. I called her and told her the situation and she was like, 'its ok, we will see each other when God allows us'. i was so touched by her words. I was to be out for 2years. After four months, i purposely came to visit her in kenya and we had a lengthy discussion of how our future could be, now that we were far apart.

She said to me that she really loved me and wished that we could walk through the jorney of life togetther but one thing is that; 'its difficult for me to handle a long distance relationship, i wish we set ourselves free, other than stretchng ourselves. That time i had just graduated and was proceeding for my second degree. Now am understanding what she really meant. We could really stretch outselves and strain in our relationship.

This girl is just my best friend now. I really like her and she likes me(note the choice of words)although we are living different lives and in different countries. We helped each other go over the difficult situation and both of us completely got healed.

I treasure her honesty, her openess and sincerity, or,do i call it senstivity?

To be true am not sure. What i know is i like her she lkes me, we live in different worlds and have grown dfferenttly for tthe last two years. Even if we still have feelings for each other, i dont think we can go out again. It will be so different. though now if we can get intto each other, i will take her to be with me.never tto leave her behind.
Can i try?

I believe it was a wise choice. At least she had the guts. Most people receive a dear john leta, or a weddinbg invitation, or next time u see her she's paged, ama u r a lone in nai while she's bangin someone else wherever she is.

It's true she was honest with you but i believe two people who really love each other can get thru anything coz thta's what love is about getting thru hardships together and coming out knowing that your love for each other is stronger

I think you need to have another talk and find out what you really feel for each other

cuteeyes, I am skeptical about the 'love conquers all'. Love is like 10% of a relationship. The rest is about friendship and everyday things and dealing with them. That's why you pata a loveless couple who live happily pamoja for 20 years, and a couple 'so in love' who get divorced after 2 years.
A long distance relationship, especially if it is long and dragged out is such stress. Especially the way people grow and change over time when they are apart. Some people have these relationships and they work, but very rarely.
Kemal and his chic I think made a good choice. If they are still in love the feelings will eventually fade. if they are meant to be together they will meet again whenever. Otherwise, go heal yourself Kemal and then go find you another girl!
