I think that your question about Christianity and dating is a valid one. I find that most people don't have a valid definition of what dating really is. I would defined dating as the process of preparing for marriage and determining who to choose as a marriage partner. Once the decision of who to marry is made, the relationship now becomes a courtship, which usually leads to the altar. There is nothing wrong with dating, but there has to be a distinction in how Christians date, from the way the "world" dates.
The bible specifically forbids being yoked with unbelievers. This means you should NOT date anyone who is not a true follower of Christ. To do so, is to be in rebellion towards what God has already said not to do.
