There is nothing wrong with relationship as long as the rules are followed. Morailty should be strictly observed. It should not lead to any sexual encounters.

This is in regard to straight(heterosexual)dating.

I think that your question about Christianity and dating is a valid one. I find that most people don't have a valid definition of what dating really is. I would defined dating as the process of preparing for marriage and determining who to choose as a marriage partner. Once the decision of who to marry is made, the relationship now becomes a courtship, which usually leads to the altar. There is nothing wrong with dating, but there has to be a distinction in how Christians date, from the way the "world" dates.

The bible specifically forbids being yoked with unbelievers. This means you should NOT date anyone who is not a true follower of Christ. To do so, is to be in rebellion towards what God has already said not to do.
