well...the fact is that they are in the united states--this is a different culture with different norms- mamboz of dowry can't and shouldnt appy here- ( unless they were in kenya then maybe this jamaa wouldnt have a choice)but i dont think this fella should pay a dime ...ama he should just give in and pay just to shut the folks back home up....he has options.

The lady will benefit to be the U.S citizen and as they say u go to Rome kunia in the same toilet as Romans the guy need not pay dowry. First of all, there is no way that 'white mathe' is getting this Kenyan girl into her family for free. If she doesn't pay up (dowry) then her son loses the girl as a cosequence. She should understand that thats the Kenyan culture,which SHE SHOULD RESPECT or else forget about marrying a Kenyan lady.
Secondly, I dont see what favour she thinks she is doing by telling us about becoming a US citizen. #### THAT! USA is no mans land, and she doesnt own it. Anyone who wants to go there will go, so stop telling us about that bull ####. Our home country is the best...
