Default Rock like a Barack Star - 05-11-2008, 06:57 PM

When he showed up at Jay Leno before the writers strike i thought the guy didn't know what he was talking about.

Jay Leno; 'Mr Obama, how does it feel now that Clinton is leading you in
double digits at the polls ?

Obama ; ' Mrs Clinton is not the first person to declare mission
accomplished before the battle even has started.

Remembering the conversation i think the guy is smart. What started as a victory in Iowa has finally culminated in a huge lead.Iowa is 97 percent white.

The fundraising is also off the hooks.Bring in Oprah, the Kennedys, the momentum and Hillary seems like a lone voice in the wilderness.

'Me and my friends have finally got a person we can talk about.............We know we are being fooled, but it sure does feel good to be in the bandwagon.'New York times white male reporter.

Bring it on Mccain.Thats a fight am eagerly waiting for.The battleline is already drawn between the past and the future.Age will be a huge factor granddad.

The conservatives are livid. When Mccain gave his speech on the environment,he embraced global warming which is against their values. They believe global warming is a hoax and an excuse by the democrats to impose federal regulations. They believe the energy crisis can only be solved through ingenuity, innovation, personal responsiblityor a discovery eg nuclear use.Their line of thought is humanbeings have nothing to do with the environment. The democrats believe federal regulations too should be imposed too.

Mccain seems to be on the centre when it comes to issues but he need the right wing to win.Thats the base of the republican party.
Obama had to move to the left to win the democratic nomination. His waiting for Hillary to drop out to come back to the centre.
Mccain seems confused and as Obama puts it he has lost his bearing. If he takes a conservative stand, he is seen to be advocating George Bush failed policies. If he moves to the centre, the Democratic National Commitee{sp} follows him reminding Americans he is a republican.
He confessed to know nothing about the economy but he has read Greenspan book.(LOL)
