Why would you come to mashada to meet someone when everywhere in the streets kuna mob Kenyans? The ones abroad do so because it's some meeting point. I doubt many Kenyans in Kenya know what mashada is....and even those who do have other mediums for dating.

True!
So, for the kenyan's at home who look for dates online (mnajijua), its rather obvious why!
It then follows simple logic that if a guy/girl is hitting on you online, they must either have ulterior motives or can't get dates from those who know them in their daily lives!

i only know one mashadite and we've always been confused to be one and the same. the dramas that unfold in here once a while are way too much so i don't intend to know any more mashadites beyond the public forums.

I had a very similar thought, but I thought it was just me being cynical.
