Here are my tips
1. Do your laundry, run dishwasher after 7pm. Use cold water whenever you can
2. Those pennysaver envelops you get in the mail that you've been tossing in the name of "junk" mail? Ain't no shame in carrying coupons for when you do that big grocery shopping.
3. Start shopping at Farmer's Markets instead of your local grocery store for fresh produce. Try going towards the end of the day coz they don't want to have to take all that remainder with them. Buy extra and freeze watever you can
4.Ladies(and probably men too) if you are like me and have to get to your stylist's chair on time, ask them for a day when they have specials. Its usually on a slow day at the beauty shop, like mine's a Tuesday. That is the day I get my touch-ups now. You'll be amazed by how much you can save. I've gone from paying $70 on a Saturday morning to $45 on a Tuesday!
5. By a pack of "STI Gas treatment" from the store (NOT the gas station) and use it in place of buying Premium gas. Just fill your car with the regular gas all the way then pour in a bottle of STI. That gas will keep on giving (mileage)
I learned this from my girlfriend in the military.

actually, the STI stuff is all biz. research shows it doesn't work. on the other hand, if u dont have a high end car esp. a sports car, then you don't need premium gas. look at your car manual for the recommended gas type, if they recommend you use premium you should do that, they know better. if you wonna know more about gas type and the different octane ratings and how it works see this wiki page
