Default New Browser by Google - 09-07-2008, 06:23 AM

I use firefox, but I am just installing the google browser

It has rave reviews with the few that have tried it

Google Chrome - Download a new browser

All about secure browsing, but dont ditch mozilla just yet, with mozilla, you can throttle your browser to improve speeds by upto 50%, will tell you how soon.

As for IE 7, its appropriate we hold a requiem mass, one of this days

Just because you've always done it that way, doesn't mean its not incredibly stupid.

It seems the google browser is already throttled
jeez its fast, KKKK you talked about checking speeds, please check this one and comment, compare IE, firefox and Chrome google

And for the now overly cautious mashadites, who dont follow url's the site is

http://tools .google .com / chrome/ or www .google. com / chrome

Enjoy the experience

I use opera for my fone and pda, but you know google mail has a mail software for the fone, very secure, downloads emails to your fone, cant chat though, network limitations.

Yahoo is very behind in some developments, i see it loosing a lot of business

i have heard and read good reviews aabt chrome lakini just like a new OS i let others try it out for bugs and all and then after i try it. will wait for the full release to come out.

hear chrome is a stripped down mozilla and that's why it's fast.

I do just the same, I'm yet to use Vista probably wont with Windows 7 coming soon!
Anyway this Chrome seems to be a boom, but not yet for me.

Just a slight info YB* I dont use IE either, but there is IE 8 in the market. Its funny how microsoft killed other web browsers companies like netscape by offering IE for free, now IE is a trash!

Today, I went behind my filters and tried installing the browser, it triggered all security markers in the systems, its true that its light and is faster than mozilla, there is also a claim that it does not register as a program, so it does not show on the prg list, and apparently does not send IP's, but it seems as if its sending other data, which I would consider more intrusive.

So for now my use with it is limited to cyber cafes, I have not experienced the same issues with mozilla, and as I said you can improve mozilla speeds by a wide margin. So let me await post-moterms on the same from other users.

that "incognito window" option is very interesting on that Google chrome.

But one thing i found wired is lack of the ability to set bookmarks and ability to set a homepage. If i was the one doing requirement gathering for these guys these two would have been optional params. Maybe I just didn't find them yet.

So far i like it...its FAST,appealing to look at and a breath of fresh air. Mozilla still holds its own tho.RIP IE 7

I am automatically disqualified as I use Mac's Leopard OS. I also see they copied Opera's style of having many window's open in one.

GOOGLE will put very many corporations outta business. Google Docs is about to take over and that will be the death of Microsoft Office.

Gmail is way ahead of other email providers. Google also has Youtube under it's wing, meaning it has the video market on lock.

Sh.it what's next Google condoms?

That's messed up, how Chrome can't have those key features
