My opinion....When some women started out on the looking good and dressing sexy, it was to attract a mate (Ain't that the first rule of the jungle from whence we came???). But along the way, some of the women changed to just plain looking good, feeling good about it and comfortable too. That does not mean there are no women who dress for attention even now.

my friends who dress in a sleazy way have issues - 85% of them actually have low self confidence or inferiority complex ... and feel they must go to all outrageous lengths to prove themselves ...

i found that those who are kawaida - can be sexy but not sleazy ... and are very comfortable with themselves

Its actually a simple thing to prove, what percentage of girls went to function outside school or in innings without 'dressing up'? keep in mind bado it was uniform! Borrowed blouses, shared perfumes etc.

If they dress for themselves, then it would not have mattered touching up the style in such small functions. No?
