Two weeks ago, the Nairobi Star ran a story saying that over 50% of campus chics in Nai have boyfriends (man friends) who are out of campus i.e. working. That, of course, was not surprising.

What caught my eye is that the report showed that over half of these chics with working men do it for the money. Yaani they don't love these men but they need a good time/money.

In fact the headline was "You can buy campus love" or something to that effect.

How true is this?

As in all these campus/colle chics do is look for money from working men while still having another guy on the side for real love?

Can chics please explain if this is true? Cos if it is, i am checking into main campus tonight

This is pure BS!! especially when talking about students. Women have always argued that its a mans world out there so they do all they can to survive. At the student level this is not the case, as both the males and females are at the same level broke.

Do you mean to say men in campus are given money while women are not? and that's why the gals are broke, fact is, they are educated hoes, period. So what do the men do to survive this hard life??

Again, women in campus usually are better advantaged to earn temp side jobs while in colle because of the kenya job scene, unlike men, many ladies will do merchandising, promotions for products ranging from supermarket to bars (eg, Richot, Pall mall promotion).

Hiyo campus ya Nairobi tulienda, we saw ladies who worked hard to earn cash - the right way. You can use this argument out there in the streets, but it dont apply to campus life.

I agree with you. They are not looking for money to eti survive... wanataka pesa ya kunywa pombe kila weekend na kwenda hizo club za westtie where beer is 160bob. Then they can brag to their room mates about it...wasichana phoko. i remember there was a roundup on K-street na alot of campus chicks were snapped.

lame lame lame excuse, life is hard everywhere and Kenya is not an exception. the bottom line is...campus gals want entertainment like drinking pombe, kubanjuka banjuka and where else to find all this...a working jamaa coz campus jamaa are busy studying or else the budget is tight.

I'm glad there are pple who see the world like I do! why in the world would those hot chics compete for Flavs? Anyway it justify the world we are living in today!
