But at least it limits the hours you spend online. If work was your only source of net connection, trust me you would be spending more time online.

But i agree with you, self discipline is a major factor in respecting company time and equipment, no amount of policing can make humans behave the right way if they are naturally irresponsible.

Assume you are an employer before you start misusing even an office pin. Before we blame Kimunya and company, lets look at our own corrupt practices.
Fortunately there are some people who don't do data entry jobs or in customer care or other very involving exercises, there are levels in your workplace that require one to think outside the box, strategise. So you have internet access for just that, you need to know something, browse please.

And with that you can do entertainment pia, nothing wrong with that, whatever charges you up as long as you deliever. Welcome to the work smart and not work hard life!!

reading papers in the morning is a ritual, you must know whats cutting in the market and your environment, understand what a political comment could mean to your biz, the short of it is, it all depends on what you do and your contribution to your organisation. So dont hate too much on work browsers like myself.

Just because you've always done it that way, doesn't mean its not incredibly stupid.
