hey listen, right now stocks in america are at their lowest. buy em, give em 4 years and hopefully by then obama would have improved their economy. your stocks will be worth nice dollars.

I advice you to take the Kikuyu wife option, make her feel special and she wont think of poisoning you, since Kikuyus are good at handling money..you'll just sit back and watch the interest grow.

I second your idea.
If you're not keen on building at the moment, just accumulate as much land as you can. Currently, their values are rising at a pace that far surpasses yearly returns from any other form of investment. It's also 100% risk free, unlike stocks.
However, due to political instability in some 'hotspots,' don't venture too far out from Nai. Central is ok, it's generally peaceful; Eastern province don't go past kitengela and R.Valley fikisha Karen/Ongata Rongai. They are not my ideas btw; I overheard tidbits from a wise friend.

I've just noticed there's no emoticon for rolling eyes.( ) I must say I question your sincerity.

@ Waithera that was probably a pyramid scheme where one is promised something for nothing ... doesn't work that way!

The shimo thing has potential ... Oh and I know a Kyuk gal ...

.
I agree with you on land being a good investment. The only caution is that since people are aware of this, con artists wamejaa everywhere ready to fleece people by selling to them non existing land.

I love deadlines. I like the whooshing sound they make as they fly by.

Personally, I think you should be affiliated with a licensed representative who is affliated with a very good broker/dealer....depending on where u are. Check out their requirements and even call the broker dealer they are affiliated with to confirm coz u never know. Also make sure the sure the broker dealer is SIPC certified, i.e, if they go bankrupt or anything, they are entitled to giving u ur money back(not sure how much it is now). If you are young, invest in Fixed or Equity Index Annuities, these are long term. CD's and MF are also a good investment. Buy shares and sell ur shares when the market goes up or down. I work for the brokerage industry and in trading and I see lots of people call in with huge amounts of cash and end up getting more in the end..it is up to u...u need to do ur research though coz u dont want to be taken for a ride with ur hard earned savings...good luck
