hey, i got a question for u before i let u know want i have 4 ua thread.
How many degrees do u got from Indian? and how long did each take u to acquire?
What do u consider to be a credible University? and at what point should we be concerned with the creadibility of a university? after graduating or before graduating from the university?

If I was an employer, I would consider you based on your grades. If you have similar grades with an applicant schooled in the west, I may be a little biased and choose the other. If your uni ranks huko juu among Indian universities, I will consider that too.
With all that said, I know many kenyans who chuod in India and hold very good jobs in Kenya.

thanks everyone
How did i get my degrees?
you know its possible to pursue like three masters degree from three different universities at the same time in india. most universities have got learning centers in different cities, all you need to do is attend classes on weekends and pass the exams.
i dont know why mtoto mzuri thinks life is difficult in south India, I find it rather easy, only that there is minimal entertainment and so you end up spending most of your time on books.
Opiche-there are universities that are generally considered good especially in South India

In IT alot of employers will give you a chance to prove your ability/skills as per your degree. In Europe Indians are doing very well. Sisemi lazima you be a muindi

From what i've heard,(no pun intended @ poster) those Indian Universities just dish out degrees provided you have chums.there are some kenyan firms who dont hire guys from Indian universities.

While working in Kenya,I was once involved in a recuriting process and during the shortlisting process - several of colleagues and seniors declared outright no one with degrees from India to be shortlisted! Possibly that was the attitude with many employers - not sure if it has changed as much.
All the same, there are so many Kenyan firms/banks et al outsourcing (especially IT) from South India, a sign of recognition of quality, I guess. As someone has raised it above, there universities in India considered high quality whereas others will be considered bogus - what do you expect of a university that gives your academic transcript and certificate in a local language?!
Again, 2 or 3 masters degree within a span of 2 to 3 years will be doubted by any employer.
I realise that patriotism is not enough. I must have no hatred or bitterness towards anyone.

I have been away
I get ur point and thanks for these insights, however i would not really show up all my degrees at the same time I know that can raise doubts about their quality, but I have worked hard for them, perhaps two at a time. Gathuita you may consider Hindi or Tamil local but it is is not the same as Kikuyu or Luhya, it is spoken by over 300M bloody Indians, and these guys will do anything to assert its relevance in the world stage.
