California, New York, Hawaii, Massachussets( depending on area), Connecticut those are the ones I can think of.
Cheapest are down south, Mississippi, Alabama,Tennesee,Oklahoma basically the red neck states, KKK and backwardness outweighs pro's of living there.

Cali,NY,Illinois near Chicago,Northern Virginia near DC,Mass.,Connecticut some parts of Maryland are all expensive areas. Washington State, Oregon, Georgia,Texas, Arizona, Nevada are relativley inexpensive states with good companies and affordable housing. Idaho is butt a.ss cheap but then again you'd be living in Idaho.

Here's the deal,
TN, AR are kinda cheap, but they pay nothing. (good place to go to chuo and then get the heck out)
TX is ok paywise and cost of living wise
CA, if you don't have a good paying profession is so bad.
I haven't been to FL, but I hear it's expensive and they don't pay well. I have been told ati they pay you in 'sun shine'. now is that going to feed my family?
Oh,,Phoenix is ok,, but you better not be allergic to heat.
Good Luck
my goal is to live in each state at least once, then move to another country.. (12 down,,,,many more to go) Try finding a man with those kind of ambitions.
