Default For the computer freaks.. - 07-11-2007, 07:36 AM

I have two questions..

1. I am into translation/interpretation from English-french, and french-english, does anyone know of a way to make typing on the keyboard user friendly when i want to type in french? I have adjusted the software part of it, but i need to visually see the accents, and chapeaus, instead of guessing everytime. Are there some kind of stick ons? that one can get inorder to make typing visually easy??

2. I am constructing a webpage using dreamweaver CS3. This guy sent me a webpage he had constructed using Microsoft publisher, which i converted into an .asp file, however, editing it is just too taxing. Is there a way of constructing a webpage in MS publisher prog and saving it so that it opens easily on dreamwever?

3. Is it possible to save the webpage on dreamweaver to a lower version of the same, so that someone who doesnt have dreamweaver CS3 (or some1 with a lower version of dreamweaver) can manage to open it, without the images having to 'lock' ie not display, and the text too...

Help would be really appreciated.

cant you people find better terms to refer to IT professionals? Ati computer freaks... I have half a mind not to respond to your queries, but i will coz you are a first time offender

First of all tö gét àcçènts lîke thésé ï göt hérè yöü nèéd a multîlinguàl kèyböard lïke the one° i hàvé hér鲨, yöu cànt gët acçénts ön Ä nôrmal ënglish keyboard.

Or better still buy two keyboards and you see that small button near the clock written "EN" on your comp use it to change the keyboards every time you plug a different version.

And then your second Question, are you designing a website or editing one? And it makes more logical sense to rebuild your own platform and then copy paste the text from the website you are trying to re-work. But you have to note that software houses allow for very limited interoperability of most web editing software, like mirosoft expression and dreamweaver CS3 are not "friendly" to one another.

Hiyo swali ya tatu, read the second answer

Thanks MKM...what would u want me to call u??? rather than an IT guy.

Ok. for the first answer, where can 1 purchase these multilingual keyboards,? If in the U.S. Are they just called multilingual keyboards, or do they have a special name to them?

I use that EN option that u aptly described above.
I am building a webpage, not editing one. However, the person helping me to build is using MS publisher, sending it to me as a webpage ie HTML, which i then open in dreamweaver CS3. It looks quite pretty when designed on MS publisher. And i dont want to lose that prettyness, but editing it in dreamweaver is hell..!
