Mugabe – Never Surrender to Nazilike Tactics of Britain, BBC, US,EU.... -
05-04-2007, 01:30 AM
So it has happened again! Double standards at their best. The just ended sham elections in Nigeria will, despite the noisy “condemnations” by EU, US and other observers, be allowed to take hold. In a week’s time, you won’t hear anything about them from BBC, comrade Mugabe’s most tenacious nemesis. BBC has already gone back to lambasting Mugabe for adverse weather in the country. When a few years ago Zimbambwe held elections hailed by most as free and fair, the same hypocritical observers were in a dilemma. How would they condemn without being seen to be practicing unfairness? Nevertheless, they went and imposed sanctions on the country for “flawed elections”!!!

Man, shut the f*ck up! Mugabe is no hero! If you were a regular Zimbabwean facing 4-digit inflation, starvation, and grinding poverty, I bet you wouldn't be up in here supporting that criminal.

And who's responsible for 4 digit inflation. The above gang! Illegal sanctions is the operative term!

Get your facts right man! There were no problems in Zimbabwe until a few years ago when a few mzungus were asked to hand back the land they had stolen from poor Zimbabweans in the first place. As usual, mzungus ganged together (with their mighty media shouting at rooftops - Mugabe this, Mugabe, that). By the time they were finished, Mugabe looked blacker the black hole of Culcatta.
Like I have said before, you let in mzungu into your house at your peril. What can poor Mugabe do against governments and media who are capable of having the entire world lap up the fake story of female Rambo Jessica Lynch? Tell us another one!

Here's a little parable for you...
You're riding in your car with your wife and 7-year-old son. Your chauffeur is driving. Suddenly you order your chauffeur to pull over so your 7-year-old son can drive. Your wife and your chauffeur protest because your son is not old enough or experienced enough to drive a car. You insist that your son has to drive because it's your car and you have the right to say who drives it.
Your 7-year-old gets in behing the wheel, and within no time crashes the car. Who do you blame for the crash? Do you blame your wife? Your chauffeur? Yourself?

Parable not applicable in the present situation. You grossly misread the situation. I sometimes get amused by the naivety I see around here on global politics. US invades Iraq under the pretext of destroying WMD - you swallow that one! But no WMD! All of sudden, WMD are forgotten. You are told the terrible dictator Sadam (although there was little to distinguish between Sadam and US in terms of brutality and mass murder) - you swallow that one too! Then things change - you are fed the line about democratizing Iraq - that, too, you swallow! By now Bin Laden and Al Quaida (America's former partners in crime) are forgotten. Meanwhile, in Africa, Darfur is burning. Govt of Sudan is committing genocide. Talk of sanctions is muted - certainly no "shock and awe" bombs from US. Ethiopia holds sham elections and many acre massacred in the streets of Addis - Ethiopia is a "good boy" so no one says anything. Meanwhile in Zimbabwe puppet opposition hold an unlicensed rally and leaders are tear gassed. This is a big issue - talk of more sanctions. Mugabe brutality, blah, blah... Try holding an unlicensed meeting in most countries - ask Rev. Njoya, Martin Shikuku and, more recently, Uhuru K. I saw more police brutality against civil society demonstrating against WTO talks in America than I ever saw in streets of Harare. But of course we know Mugabe is a terrible dictator - he is a cannibal and anti-gay! Hitler was an elected leader - so is George Bush. But you don't hear about Bush the mass murderer. Mention cry baby Israel and you are an instant antisemitic. Believe your own and your master's fiction if you must but please leave us out of it!
