Stars are like diesel engines,they use gravity to produce pressure for combustion,the fusion.The reason a star undergoes fusion is Mass---->Gravity---->pressure--->Heat(and heat is what matters.I think if this stars need a certain mass to have this gravitational pressure(8% of the mass of the sun)in order to produce enough heat for fusion,then pressure and mass is irrelevant for fusion(this is how we make nuclear weapons,all we need is heat).Let me pick on a planet,Jupiter.Since Jupiter can't spontaniously begin fusion,Safina throws a spark(thermonuclear device)at Jupiter.It would be somewhat possible that the explosion would keep going on and on due to the fact that Jupiter's atmosphere is gaseous and liquid/solidified hydrogen.And a new star will be born.Wassee this idea might seem wierd but once this honky tonks with ramby pampy heads find another home out there(on another planet)be assured they will use this idea to wipe ya all,and earth will turn into another star.always count yourself lucky when you wake up and find the sun is still there.More can't be said,I am under surveilance.But i am still proud to be a Kenyan.
