friday is the best day at ma job, cuz it marks my absence for the next two days.
as usual, i am not generous at gettin to work. i leave the crib exactly 20 minutes to time.its a straight shot at 70 m/hr ...
today it was rather different. while usually i am used to idle streets i was met with chokin traffic. i tried all possible quick shots, but dayuum. in short.....i was late...completely late as in 1 hr after time.
this is where the story began....some lady decides to jump over a bridge, and the end result is 3 hrs of backed-up traffic. cops and paramedics try to talk her out....each time they get closer..,.she dangerously hangs off the 20 ft bridge. and the saga continues...
the temperatures are in the oppressive 90's ....people are rushing, and the traffic aint moving nada. majority of the peeps have no idea wats cuttin...those who know cant exit the dayuum freeway with all its clogged exits and entrances. u are so trapped,,,,
peeps are gettin pissed, impatient and angry,,,this drama got to stop........the honkin, the yellin increases as the 2 major intersectin freeways get to a stand still. in a minute there is a choir of drivers........JUST JUMP THE DAYUUM BRIDGE....WE NEED TO BE GOING.
on one side are a handful of city cops sweet talkin the suicidal lady....on the other is loud honkin and screams of.....JUMP ! JUMP ! JUMP !
yes i am so fackin late, and the heat is killin, u cant even dare cut off the engine. i am runnin out of patience....3 hrs is no joke on hot tarmac. but are the actions of the public morally justified ? is it right. if u were there, late for work, probably with no AC in 100 degrees, your car is running out of gas...etc etc....would u yell jump ? look at it like this,,,what if that lady was yah friend, sister, aunt, mum or wife......does that idea change your decision ?
