Some people just have too much time on their hands. what do you care that this person decides to name their child after a car, city, country, cleaning agent. What is your problem???? Have your own ragrats then give them conservative names. What is so funny or strange about those names??? How about

China
Sky
Taiwan
Sidney
Aeroflot
Storm
Lightning
Its just a matter of personal taste. i mean there are some conservative names that still get peeps caned
Proscovia
Agnetta
Philomena
Absocondita
Now whats that about.

Speaking of names....

I have a close friend...I mean...u know Jangoz should be praised at least ukisikia jina ya the kid u can know what time period the kid was born...

The friend Sputnik Orlando James Amayo...yeah he was born in 1960-61....I think that was the time the Sputnik....Russia's first space shuttle was built........

So in this vain the kiddo can be named....WorldCup Omondi or something...and then tutajua at the time the kido was born....

aii pple.. iknow this sounds all interesting and stuff.. but whatever a parent decides to name his/her kid is their own business.. in the future most of us will name our kids and we will name them according to what we feel is best.. if i named my kido Matthew, Michelle, Ian or David or Jeep ... etc etc or whatever its becoz i like that name.. i dont think parents do it deliberately to embarass their kids.. they do that coz they think its cute or nice or whatever.... so wahtever a paro names his kid, whether it maybe funny to us or not, thats their personal biz!

Hey, that's not unusual with jango's, I went to primo (Kili)with a guy named Yuda Yogo and Aeroflot Osanya. One of our tenants had so many kids. One of them was named Regun Owiti.

The name should be meaningful to those who choose it, in this the parents! What if the parents were making out in their new Jeep Liberty and the results were a new baby! The name is good as long as it make sense to those who use it.

Some African communities choose names depending on important occurrences at the time of birth, time of day or where the child was born. So it should be no surprise that some can choose such a name. Now I see almost all Kenyan christian families in the US with kids born in the west give their kids at least one swahili name such as Baraka, Nehema, etc.

Ni hiyo ni Maendeleo!
