I know of some Kenyan catholic priests who broke the vow of celibacy and fathered children. I am assuming that there are some gay priests too, but since the Kenyan community has considered public talk about sex taboo, even more so gay sex, and this coupled with the African macho man attitude, these man might never come forward. I actually have a theory that many of the African/Kenyan priests and brothers were molested as well, but this a secret they keep.

I know of priests who died of sexually contracted AIDS.

There is a theory that pedophiles become priests and not vice-versa , because this is the one area (institution) that they can practice their 'sick' behavior without being prosecuted. Heck, he does 12 boys in Boston, they find out, they move him out to West Palm Beach...he keeps up his sodomy… blah blah blah.

If there is any lesson we can all learn from this is to trust yourself and only you. Stick to your fore fathers religion.

My heart weeps for the little boys…although some are grown men now, the little boys in them still cry ‘FOUL’ and rightfully so.

The Catholic Church has always been shrouded with a lot of mysteries/scandals... sex abuse being just one of them. I also know this Priest who has Fathered several kids and he had such a bad reputation.. he was the talk of the whole Parish till he decided to go to hibernation in Italy and now he then again to US.. he was such a prostitute... Sleeping with gals old enough to be his daughters... This is sooooooo disgusting..

Don't take it personally but if I asked "Is Gaidi Sugu importent?", no one would be able to come up with the right answer except you and maybe your wife. In the same light, the question above is out of context since most if not all mashidites don't know about the popes sexual inclinations.

The issue of priests molesting alter boys is despicable to say the least and it shoud be condemned by all and sundry in no uncertain terms. My take on the issue is that evil by any other name is evil no matter who is involved. What I have beef with is the effects the priests actions have on the boys and/or girls involved and ofcourse the worshippers since it destroys trust completely that has been endowed on the priests. I'm trying to imagine the priests conducting mass and how the congregation would react to their sermons i.e anger, contempt, bitterness, distrust, hate, etc etc. This I guess is where the pope shoud come in and condemn the actions of the priests since their actions affects not only the victims but the whole society/community at large.

The culprits should be tried and if convicted/ foung guity jailed like any other person. No coverup should be entertained at all.

The pope bishops achbishops and cardinals should come out and condemn the acts. But when all is said and done, you can't be branded the name "thief" just becouse your father is a thief and this is where individual responsibility and/or accountability comes in. Therefore in as much as there are bad priests/clergy, we cannot condemn the whole church and its followers.

5 years ago I had no idea that there were priests who could actually molests little boys. Maybe I was just naive. But as far as I was concerned, priests were the closest thing to Jesus Christ a human being could ever hope to be.

Now I learn that priests have been molesting hundreds of little boys as far back as the '60s and '70s. And the Pope, being the leader of the Catholics, obviously knew about this for years. But did he take any action to protect the innocent little children? NO. Did he do anything to punish the offenders? NO. Did he do anything to make sure it never happens again? NO. He just chose to keep it to himself.

Now, if the Pope, the supreme leader of the Catholics, could hide and cover up such a monumental scandal for almost 30 years, just imagine what else he could be hiding.

While he may, or may not be gay, the Pope has already depleted his moral authority and credibility. Right now I would not be surprised to learn that the Pope is actually gay. Even if he denied it it would be hard for me to believe him anyway.

If you owned a voracious untrained pit bull that has not had a meal for 3 days, but chose not to warn your unwitting neighbor not to walk into your backyard, you are just as guilty as a person who set a dog on a hapless victim. So it is safe to say that the Pope sinned by omission.

The Catholic church is a political entity just like the Kenyan government.I doubt someone would sue the secretary of defense and President Bush not know about it. Everytime a Catholic Priest was caught with his d.ick up a little boy's a.ss, the Catholic church coughed up millions of dollars to keep them quiet. Now, unless you can come up with a convincing explanation how these lawsuits were settled (over 20 lawsuits, some costing between 20 and 30 million) without involving the Pope, I am afraid you have no idea what you're talking about.

If these priests could withdraw sums totalling more than $100 million from the Catholic church's coffers without the knowledge of the Pope, then they really are miracle workers. Or the Pope is just a monumentally inept administrator. Or u are just dumb enuff to believe that the Pope didn't know. Or u are gay yourself! Ha ha ha.

Now, as for this other idiot who says that anyone who is not Catholic should not concern themselves with this whole scandal, you are just acting retarded.
