True, Wakili. It goes more than that, but still it is a kind of 'phobia'. Or rather based on the dislike and fear of the gayness.

I don't see anything wrong with banning the promotion of a homosexual lifestyle in public schools.

It's probably the same as a prohibition on the promotion of any particular religion by the state.

I shudder just thinking of 10 yr olds having their first class in sexual education with the teacher starting discussions off on the joys of batty loving.

Something would have to be terribly wrong somewhere.
If we want to promote homosexuality, parents can build private schools that teach the importance of homosexuality. After all, it is a free world with indoctrination as the norm. I'd like to see the public response to such a noble initiative.

On Brown, I think the participants desperately needed help. That kind of mutilation was simply depraved. Comrade Mugabe would be hard-pressed to find fitting adjectives.

Nonetheless, I think the age of consent should be lowered as is the case in places like Australia. At least one more cry of victimisation would be eliminated and I could sleep in peace.

I'll get me a nice cold one now. It is the weekend after all.

Cheers!

The Muramati.

Which quintessential injustices gain our sympathy, attention, and provoke our conscience most? Rarely the most deserving. For every Gay argument or activity , countless other worthy causes languish in obscurity. The groups that reach the global limelight often do so at dear cost—by distorting their principles and alienating their constituencies for the sake of appealing their drift to the masses. Gay demands are and will forever be fought for but the question is, what exactly are they lobbying for?

The gay community has been accorded the authority to run their God-defying show with a defense team more stringent than that that protects the minority, whose only offense was to be born shades darker than what the white man desired. It’s a choice that they make (read gay) unlike the Black man whose sin is his skin. All humanity is prejudiced against at one point or another, and if the gay communty feels like they are getting a raw deal, then they need to wake up and smell the coffee. Nobody gives a rat's asss about their lifestyle. It's what they are trying to fight for that gets under our skins.

Really, whatever conflicts they encounter is their own doing. If they did their thing and mind their own business, then no one would care, but to come forth and act like everybody is out undermine them is what works up the common man who in the first place has to deal with his unfair share of life and does not understand why such an abominable thing should be an issue anyway.

If homosexuality is wrong, only God can judge, but morality defies that very act. The world is changing rapidly, but man should not be caught up in that confusion, for the sake of keeping up with the pace. We ought to know what time it is and revere that that is God’s temple.
