Default LAND RATES TOO - 03-14-2002, 05:55 AM

your lawyer should also check with the relevant City Council of the area in which your property lies to ensure there are no outstanding land rates.

dont u have any friends in Kenya who can recommend a lawyer, because following up on even simple things like land transactions can take forever when u're not around to pursue them. I'm sad to say that even the best Kenyan lawyers are very inefficient and therefore quite ineffectual.

If Ur friends can be trusted, they should take up the trouble of calling on ur advocates to push them to hurry up. U wont believe how lax some people are with their work.

if you want to invest in kenya....pliz be prepared to "stay around" as them land grabbers are much more sophisticated, desperate and fearless...not to put you down or anything.

I recently gathered some land as well...last year...and as soon as i left...someone came to my construction site with a duplicate copy of my title deed...btw this is land with my half-built home in progress....and sed was his shyt.

this was solved but not without alot of help from many people i cannot name..hit my inbox for
more info. but be there from start to finish of your project.

...good luck...

IZ ALL GWENO!
