Guys,

Dont worry, Raila is one of the few leaders in Kenya who doesnt wait for thinks to become to thick before making an about turn.

If you noted he has been doing a lot of damage control since then.

He listens alot and that is a strength.

Compare him with his competitors who are not dynamic and find it so hard to eat back their words.

We know Moi and Kalonzo is going to try and capitalize on this very hard but lets home that the political damage is minimal.

It shouldn't be that Tinga is doing damage control but building on his momentum. Come guys it makes him look indecisive.

As much as i have always admired your conviction on matters of governance, i must disagree with you on this one. By calling what Raila has said about his intentions to recover stolen money from looters payukaring, it leave someone wondering whether doing things in the stealth of the night while people are not watching is politically prudent. Raila is telling kenyans that he will get them back their monies from these thieves and he will start with the biggest looter of them all, Toroitich Arap Moi.

Dont tell me that you are buying into this rubbish about Kalenjins being turned off because their revered saviour is being threatened with prosecution? Mois theft did not and has never benefited Kalenjins in any shape or form. Baringo residents of all the people live on relief food and this is after 50years of representantion, of which 24 years as president. So tell me, where is your angle when you accuse Raila of payukaring when he is merely stating what every concerned kenya wants to hear?

Never believe what Raila says before giving him a chance to extricate his foot from his mouth!

Raila should also stop telling people that he will prosecute Moi even if he has plans to do so.

I know that as much as people dont like moi, they do not want him bothered. Raila should make this race to be one of Kikuyus against kenya and leave Moi to waste his time. Every time he talks about prosecution, he loses many votes in RV. I know other fellow ODMers will disagree but that is how I see it.

Corruption Perceptions Index 2007 may stop President Kibaki’s re-election
Less than 100 days to the Presidential election Transparency International’s flagship Corruption Perceptions Index (CPI) for 2007 has been published. Kenya’s score of 2.1 out of 10 (rank 150 out of 180) would be classified by Transparency International as indicating rampant corruption within the Government of Kenya.

Not for the first time Kenya is the lowest ranked East African Community country, but what will shock some is that Kenya is for the first time lower ranked than Nigeria and apparently as badly regarded as Zimbabwe. Unusually, the local Transparency International chapter is not making a big fuss about the CPI 2007 results, which consequently hasn’t received its usual headline treatment by the Kenyan press. For what it’s worth the Government Spokesman is silent on Kenya’s poor ranking.

Who would have thought that Mwai Kibaki would be 100 days away from the political battle of his life completely unable to even utter the word ‘corruption’ in his campaign speeches to the country?

Nyatigi when you resort to just copy pasting one idea every time shows you are devoid of any substance that can help raila.

and now back to the thread, One thing that raila's think tank will have to learn to reign is his mouth, He is so used to talking to the "masses" and tends to get careless with his words. Remember the "kikuyu ni adui" saga???

This is just to reinforce some sense in some minds. I am glad you have noticed this. This action is even less mild than some of the satanic images posted in this forum.
