Yea, the Channel O Emcee Africa challenge finally went down last weekend.I didnt actually see the final battle which Snaz was goin up against Teeto. .(maybe someone can give info to that effect).It was a good event and all the MCs who were finally shortlisted were brilliant.My only beef was with the judges. . .
1.On the Kenyan front, Nazizi was selected to represent at the finals.During the Kenyan chapter, she had actually shown a trend of being swayed by the other judges, especially Abbas.Given this precedent was her selection actually justified?
2.At the finals, one criteria of elimination was that they couldnt hear an MC clearly and yet in other rounds where Snaz (their favourite) was involved, that was the same basis of redoing the round.Double standards nini?
3.Whats a punchline if the crowd doesnt fill the MC?Clearly the judges had got it all wrong.

But as always in Africa, competitions are not competitions per se, just tribal/homeground callouts lol!
