Mazee ukweli ni ukweli, genge maze iko nyuma sana ukicompare na BONGO. Fact genge themes are about sex, HEPI na v2 ambazo hazina msingi. How many genge artists have added value after listening to them. There are a few execeptions here (Didge, Eric Wainaina, Ukoo flani, na wengine wachache) but not the whole lot of them.

You listen to Bongo, there is something to learn from them especially wale Mangwiji, na isitoshe, the tunes are also danceble. But what is most important is what you learn from the songs.

In Kenya there are so many things you can sing about, love (real and fake), infidelity, HIV, tribalism, politics, joblessness, the question is, how many 'artists' are singing about this?

There needs to be a change in thinking.
