The undisputed Kings of East African Music – The Longombas, will kick off the African Vuta Pumz 2006 USA Tour from October to December 2006. The Longombas have won Numerous awards that include Best East African Group at the Kora All African Music Awards 2005, Best Group-Kenya, Best Boomba Group, Best Song(Vuta Pumz) & Social Responsibility Award at the Kisima Music Awards 2006 just to mention a few.

The African Vuta Pumz 2006 USA Tour is more than just a performance tour but has something more to it. It turns out that the Longombas in partnership with True Blaq Entertainment Group & Zawadi Foundation (www.zawadiforkids.org) will be killing two birds with one stone; touring the USA and acting as secret Santa’s by collecting gifts and donations for unfortunate kids back in Africa. The tour will be a stepping stone that helps raise awareness about how children back in Africa who until now, have only wished to have their own toys. Through the gifts donated we will work toward putting the biggest smiles possible in as many children’s faces as we can by collecting new unwrapped gifts from the African community here in the USA and donating the gifts to children back in Africa starting with Kenya, Uganda & Tanzania, in time for Christmas. The Longombas tour, which kicks off in Massachusetts on October 27th 2006, will be documented in a documentary called, "Gifts bring smiles to Unfortunate Kids in Africa" which will air in most TV stations across the world in 2007.

The tour lasts over twelve weeks in the following states amongst others:- In Massachusetts, New York, New Jersey, Delaware, Washington DC, Maryland, Ohio, Michigan, Alabama, Florida, Georgia, Texas, Oklahoma, Kansas, Tennessee, Missouri, Illinois, Minnesota, Washington, Nevada, Arizona and culminates at the end of December with two shows in California. The African Vuta Pumz 2006 USA Tour marks the first time a top East African Group has undertaken such a wide reaching USA tour and a first also for an East African Group to be accorded the merit of an International Group by the USA Musician Union through the P-1 Non-Immigrant Visa that top artist like Jay Z & Sean Paul have being accorded before.

Longombas fans will be treated to some of the Groups smashing hits from there latest album – "Chukua" that include “Usinihande, Piga Makofi, Vuta Pumz, Dondosa, Shikamore to mention a few.

Special guest performance on various legs of the tour will be Ida Onyango, who recently won the Best Boomba Female Artist during the Kisima Music Awards .Other guest African artists from across the USA, will curtain raise at various concerts.

The Tour has being organized by True Blaq Entertainment Group in partnership with Kenyan Vibe, Studio-D Entertainment Group and Ogopa Deejays.
