You know, i don't quite know how to say this without sounding like a jackaass.

Anyway i was excited to hear the beat coz it's from that giriama song i love so much but that pretty much vanished when the rest of the video played.
Same old stuff, boring beat, ordinary rhymes, teenies wearing bomber jackets riding on big SUV....it's ok but nothing special really.

Anybody could have done that.

Where's the originality?

Why does it seem like every kenyan song has been produced by ONE person. I could listen to that stuff for maybe 15 minutes but after that man it's over.

I was happy though with the Sara Mbogo gospel video. Simple and kinda tacky also but at least some REAL talent. Nothing like those three Kenyan ladies kickin it old style at a park, i loved that video. You guys should focus on promoting that lady.

So yeah, this isn't coming from a playa hata point of view, i'm just tired of the same old stuff. It's not exciting.

constructive criticism is always welcome. its not healthy when every other dude jumps on your glans. that video however is not even halfway done yet. there is a club, kind of playful element to it and then a story line. that is yet to be shot. about the beat being boring, don't know what to say but you could be on the minority on that one.

Thanks for taking your time to check out that snippet. Next level go to www.beneathdasurface.com and read the review on the "African Connect" mixtape. you can also order a free copy for yourself on there.

One Luv.
