She must be proud of herself to hear Patti do one of her song and sing it that good. I got to tell you that Mary J and Patti really put a new spin on ain't no way. I love the song and I listen to it all the time.
As an artist, it brings me lots of joy to create new pieces that peepz will treasure forever. Remixes somewhat show a deficiency especially from a maestro like Patti la Belle. Aretha and Patti literally came from the same school of Gospel and R&B which with the nurturing of Ray Charles and others became Soul music.
I always look forward to hearing a new sound. So I won't give Patti any kudos.
