Default WHY COMMON IS A BUM..... {Common Is Not All That} Part 1 - 05-28-2005, 03:09 PM

Common is a dude that's really dissapointed me. I was a huge fan when I heard "Hungry" on the "One Day it Will All Make Sense" project. He was aggressive, but then I started analyzing what he was about, pure #### rider.

His history of cock riding goes as follows:

When he first came out, he was rolling with the Native Tounges (De La, Tribe, Jungle Bro's) fine, cool, get with a crew to get your name out there (Hey, even 50 Cent did it with the Brave hearts) . Then, as soon as hip hop shifted its focus from "Consious" rap to "Gangsta" rap, I've never even heard him so much as mention the dudes who helped him in the beginning. Out of the Blue he's chilling with Lauryn Hill, as if no one noticed that when the Fugee's album "Blunted on Reality" was a commercial flop, he never was seen with them. But as soon as the score sells 17 million and the stage is set for Lauryn to go solo, out of the blue "I'm Lauryn Hills biggest fan," nigga please.
Then Lauryn spazzes out.

So now its on to Philly so he can ride Tariq (Black Thought's) ####. Now its Soulaqarians and out of the blue he's a Muslim. Oh, and by the way...around this time The Roots got a Grammy nomination for "You Got Me".

Fast forward to 2005, The Roots last 2 albums "The Tipping Point" & "Phrenology" flopped, when is the last time Black Thought, Malik B, or any of the Roots was seen with Common? Have you heard them mentioned in any interviews? Utter ####riding...nowadays, its all about "My brother from the Chi"!! LOL!!! Well now, this is convenient, Kanye just got alot of grammy nominations (sound familiar?) so now its me and Kanye...How the hell did Common come in the game in 1992, and Kanye in 2001, yet Common is signed to Kanye? You had damn near a decade headstart over this dude. He suppose to be signed to YOU, but instead of wearing stupid ass outfits and trying to bone coffee shop chicks at the Brooklyn Moon, Kanye came in and made his paper, now outta the blue Common wanna try and make hits with him.

Now the same DJ's (Kay Slay) who in almost 12 Years of Common being on the scene NEVER ONCE Played a common song, freestyle, or anything else on his mix tape/show, have Common on their shows now cosigning them "This Com Sense, chillin with Kay Slay" what????? STOP ####RIDING!!!

Before you started gettin spins, when did these people even acknowledge you????...Read the new XXL, I was disgusted by what that weak, no backbone having nigga said in response to Jay-Z's verse on Moment of Clarity.

He is just pathetic, I can't see how niggas are even beat for this dude but then again, people will buy anything...By the way if you still aint convinced that he's a ####rider, listen to "The Corners" Remix, with 2 "Lost" Pac verses on it, they were in the game during the same time period and Common was dropping subliminal disses at Pac for being a THUG left and right. If Pac was feeling him, they would have worked together but hey, since its popular to just run trains on Pac's vocals, I guess Common is down too........."

have this feelin some of you are wearin red noses and stripped suits....because unless he PERSONALLY informed you of his ulterior motives, you are in NO POSITION to tell us that he seeks to "ride dyck for fame/money"...

His music is all we know bout him...and so far this man's been without major flaw...
