FOR IMMEDIATE RELEASE

(LOS ANGELES, CA) – April 23, 2005 – FANATIC, the multi-platinum producer & Grammy award winner of album of the year for Beyonce’s “Dangerously In Love,” who has also produced for mega-stars such as Michael Jackson, Will Smith, Li’l Kim and rap legend Notorious B.I.G. among others, is now producing the sensational Leah LaBelle, a top-12 finalist on the number one watched TV show, American Idol (Season 3).

Born in Toronto, Canada and currently residing in Seattle, WA, Leah LaBelle had traveled to New York City to audition for last season’s American Idol series. She successfully attained a place on the TV show, being a personal favorite contestant of Paula Abdul.

“Hands down, Leah LaBelle is the best artist that we have ever had on the show,” says a top executive from American Idol who wishes to remain unnamed. Although this American Idol finalist did not take home the crown, she has not stopped her pursuit in making hit music, a talent she feels she was born to accomplish.

“This past year has been life changing. American Idol, Top 12, red carpets, media frenzy, hard work, then back to school and reality... But I haven't given up. I know God has something huge in store for my life, which is why I didn't go further in American Idol. I have been working hard to get to where I want to be and it's slowly coming together. We still have a long way, but God has his timing and I will keep working until I reach my goals,” states LaBelle.

Now, signing with Fanatic and Sixthboro Ent., LaBelle plans on fully utilizing her musical abilities, including songwriting, a talent that American Idol could not showcase.

Fanatic is just as excited about the newfound partnership saying, “Leah LaBelle is an incredible singer with an octave range that is reminiscent of Minnie Riperton. Her ability to interpret a song is amazing! She is very soulful. It’s scary that she is only 18. I guarantee that she will sell more records than any of the previous American Idol winners!”

Fanatic, through EMI, has just released the highly anticipated single, “Stupid Like U,” which features R&B phenomenon, Deborah Cox. However, Fanatic is already heavily and happily immersed in the project with LaBelle, as currently they are enjoying the big apple while holed up at Integrated Studios, an undertaking she is just as happy about.

“Fanatic is such a wonderful and down to earth person. We have a lot of fun with the team of people he has put together and he brings a lot out of me that I never knew I had,” claims an energetic LaBelle. “I am enjoying every minute…we are working hard to be the best and to take this world by storm.”

LaBelle also adds, “I just want to thank my fans who have been supporting me throughout this process and for having my back. I love you all. I do this for you and I promise it will be well worth the wait. God Bless you all.”
