Default THE SAD FACE OF KENYAN 'MUSICIANS' - 03-14-2005, 11:15 AM

With the Blair commission on africa being at top of the agenda at the G8 meeting,I was appalled to see that pictures our very own kibera slums are being used to show the world how hopeless Africa is and how much aid is needed, rock singer Bono led the campaign to push the G8 into action, yet all our very own morons calling themselves 'Gangstarrr rappers'cum musicians do is brag about the 'cool' life in Nairobi;(beer, money&whores).yet millions are suffering back home!I was utterly disgusted to attend a show by one cmb prezzo. And all he had to sing abt was all that he does with his cash&whores.NB;If you are down with these sonofa ####es.#### YOU.
KENYA IS A POOR COUNTRY, ASK MOI WHERE THE MONEY'S AT.PEACE

Default Crazy About Kenya - 09-02-2008, 11:44 AM

We've got something new happening that might work for you - we're looking for Kenyan artists and musicians to join us in a campaign that's aiming to put a positive vibe back into the destination. We're already working with a few different Kenyan groups from many different genres - showing people what's great about Kenya and more importantly keeping it real. The lyrics for many of the artists, taken from their real life and experiences. If anyone would like to be involved please email me back. You can find crazy about kenya on Facebook and the emphasis is on up and coming and established musicians so don't hold back... Hope to see you there...

Default why does everyone think bashing hip-hop is the solution - 09-02-2008, 10:19 PM

hey kibaki, NEWS FLASH!!!! even if prezzo akiacha kuimba about how much money he has, and how many h.oes he fvcked bado watu watakufa njaa na wengine wengi watakufa from easily preventable illnesses.
why? because it's not the musician job to provide basic needs for the people. even those musicians who do not sing about money haven't done much to change kenya.
instead of wasting your precious time at prezzo's bash, blowing everyone's buzz, go take part in a hunger walk or attend a political rally. ask our politicians why ksh. 75million was approved to buy.....CARS...for the prezzo, veep and PM in '08-'09 while KNH has no drugs...

Default music is only one solution - 09-05-2008, 03:40 AM

There are many ways to get the message out there and music is only one solution. We're hoping to create a positive vibe through the music and art associated with Crazy About Kenya, and our partners will also be sharing their love of all the destination. The campaign crosses the boundaries of language and culture and it's brought people together as one force from all over Europe and Africa. It's a force for positive thinking, while also being truly emotive and inspirational - so I think it still has its place. I only hope we can add something to the mix ...
