Default Kenyans on the rise - 09-22-2004, 06:27 PM

It is such a Coincidence you mentioned kenyan artists getting out there. I was in atl a few weeks back for that nameless thing and there were these two guys who actually rap in english called circle squad there stuff seems to me to be on a next level tip. Now as far as locally amongst the kenyan community i dont know what the odds are but i can put them up against alot of these Rap Big dogs and trust me they can step up to the play. Their material is so intellectual and well thought out i could actually learn a couple of things from them. Compared to what i hear these days on radio. I mean i have totally out grown Rap music for obvious reasons it it totally washed up and fabricated.i dont even remember the last a rap CD i bought, but when i heard these guys it really took me back to my early teens and mid twenties and i liked the feeling in fact their picture is on the mashada site here is the link.

No if it wasnt for styles p rapping in that track then it would have beem another trash song like all his other songs .........that song locked up is getting spins cos of d-block mc .......but like all other songs ...it grows up on someone .....the more and more one listens to it the more one likes it....no wonder his album has started pushing numbers after such a long time..............and thats thanks to styles p
