Def it gotta be Jay-Z. All i remember Nas saying is "H to the izzo M to the izzo" HOMO for you and adding a few rhymes but Jigga attacks with
"Youse the fag model for Karl Kani/Esco ads
Went from, Nasty Nas to Esco's trash". you have to hear it playing and you'll see the big difference. I'm sure Nas is cursing right now and consulting with all around, searching for a counter!

NAS has a lot more passion and is much deeper than Jay Z. He says what is on his mind. However Jay Z has a much stronger commercial instinct thatn NAS thus tailors his stuff around what guys want to hear.

Definetly Nas. I cant wait for Stillmatic to drop. It probably wont sell as much as Jay Z's blueprint, but real hip hop heads will be bumping to it for christmas thats for sure. With Ether and Stillmatic being some of the diss songs, plus others dissing Mobb Deep. He is going to do what Tupac did in 'Against All Odds'. Diss almost everyone out there

Big Noyd, I also thought that Nas was deep with Mobb Deep. Then I read somewhere that there seems to be some small acrimony between them. Maybe it was just the media being malicous. But plans for a Nas/Mobb Deep response to Jay were shelved. That makes me wonder whether it is actually true. But I will confirm and check whether its true. Hopefully before the album drops.
December 18- Stillmatic (may be the best album that will drop this year) Currently Blue print holds the crown.

makavelli jus heard him a while ago i downloaded the tracks one he calls out
fellow rappers from queens kina mobb deep and the like......sonn
the ETHER track.........DAMN nas murdered JAY the track... tight...production is grimey, lyrics do not
any better than this.only thing lacking.........COCKYNESS(jay rules when it comes to this)
i wonder who produced it......if Jay responds to this.......the two mc's then stand alone atop the
rap world..........coz word is takeover was done before even "stillmatic" the song(lame) dropped....so basically
jay still has a track for nas

Its been confirmed. Nas definetly has beef with Prodigy of Mobb Deep. Apparently Nas was pisssed that Prodigy did a song with Cormega where Cormega takes shots at Nas. Nas also says that Prodigy has for a long time been taking indirect disses towards him. I guess the battle is on. Proidgy says that he wont retaliate but I dont think he will be saying that on Dec 18.
Make sure you get Nas- Stillmatic. Dec 18.

has anyone listened to the new song Jay Z has released to retaliate for Nas toaing Ether. This rap battle is going to be humongous. Jay Z describes his sex scenes with Nas' baby mama and makes speculations that Allan Iverson also tapped that ass. It doesnt come close to Ether but the way this rap battle is going, someone might just get shot. Or maybe its just a music industry strategy to sell records? Coz this battle has definelty brought out the best in both Nas and Jay z
