lol! how do they pull the accent thingy to that extent? I also remember Whitacker in The LAst King of Scotland, he did the UG accent perfectly according to me.

Yaani i overheard a chic from SA misleading another ati the actors and actresses are SA I said...no way! Jill Scott is American, she just fit the part superbly...traditional built. I enjoyed it sana!

Watched it as well. Very good, but the book is better. Way much better.

Alexander McCall Smith is the author.

The second part of that is Tears Of The Girrafe - a must read.

Now that you mention, i'll make a point of reading it. Thanks! Books are ALWAYS better than movies. Had I known about this book, woulda'v read it prior to watching the movie. The other day I was lamenting how this movie just pakaa'd the book matope... Memoirs of a Geisha by Arthur Golden

That is one book i've been meaning to read but somehow i've never gotten round to buying it. Never even watched the movie.

Just clicked on that link for free movies. I'm so excited can't wait for the weekend, but i think i'll read Memoirs Of A Geisha first.

By the way Mcall has written about 7/8 books based around Botswana and Mma Ramotswe

I just finished reading the book a while back and then heard that the movie was coming out. I must admit that I was a bit skeptical about Jill Scott. But from the feedback, I guess she nailed it?

I did not have sexual relations with that woman...her sister, maybe!
